A message from Kelly Harris, CEO

Hi it’s Kelly here, hopefully we will see you soon in the Academy, online or in our student group.

I know that sometimes it’s hard to believe in yourself, to believe that you can actually achieve something. Well I am here to tell you YOU CAN!

We have helped so many women in the past do exactly what you are thinking of doing now.  There will be some elements of doubt in your mind, that’s normal when you are starting something new. But I need you to REALLY know this.  You can learn the skills and knowledge, you can apply them and gain clients, you can build that business, you can make money, you can build your independence and you can build the life you LOVE.

There will always be people around you who say you can’t do something or you shouldn’t do something. Let your success be your answer. It’s heartbreaking when you talk to people who didn’t get to fulfil their dreams because other things got in the way.

It is never too early and it is never too late to start on this journey. Trust me when I say we will all be here every step of the way to help push you forward and get you wherever it is you want to be.

Its your time now!

About your Enrolment

You’ve booked your course, now what?

The first thing that happens is your Student Liaison will call you to welcome you and confirm your training requirements.

Your Student Liaison is your support buddy and is there to guide you throughout your training journey.  If you need help you can reach out to them via email and telephone at any time!

Below is a rundown on what to expect:

** TIP: Click on the little pink arrow to drop down more details

Please take the time to read through carefully and contact us if you have any questions. Enjoy your new chapter with Enchanted Beauty Institute!

Our Student Liaison gets in touch with you

When we receive your booking, your Student Liaison will call to welcome you and confirm your training requirements.  They will walk you through things you might need to do before your course starts and answer any questions you have.

  • Note: if you make your booking after hours or on the weekend, we will call the next business day. If we can’t get through, we will get in touch by email instead.

We set up your online course access

After your Student Liaison has contacted you, your course order status will be set to completed.  This triggers enrolment in your course on our Online Learning Platform. You will receive an email notification to let you know when you have access, so keep an eye out in case it goes to junk mail!

  • This step happens for Online AND Academy course bookings, as we give online access as a bonus to our Academy students too!
  • If you are a new user to our Online Learning Platform, an account will be generated for you first and an email sent to you so you can create your own password.

If your course is accredited, enroll with Trainwest

If you are studying a course that includes nationally recognised qualifications, check out the Prestart section of your online course to enroll with Trainwest.

All you need to do is click on the link and complete the details to enroll online – it’s easy!

Apply for a USI

If you are a new or continuing student undertaking nationally recognised training, you need a USI to receive your qualification or Statement of Attainment.

If you don’t already have one, you need to apply for a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

Head to the Prestart section of your online course and click on the link to Apply for a USI or to find out what your USI is.

If you don’t have a USI, your qualification can’t be issued.  Your USI will give you access to an online record of the training and enable you to produce a transcript.

Set up a Dropbox Account

We use Dropbox so you can submit assessments electronically.  Your course folders are set up ahead of time and we share them with you once you let us know your Dropbox account details.

Online course students: check out the explainer videos in the How to Use Dropbox section of your course. Follow the steps and we’ll do the rest!
Academy course students: you can either set up in advance following the steps in the online course or we will walk you through it on your first training day.

Read and sign your Student Information Handbook

Our Student Information Handbook is designed to provide you with information about how we train and sets out the obligations and expectations for you and us. We ask you to please read it and if there is anything you don’t understand to let us know.

By attending our training course and/or logging into our online course, you are accepting the terms and conditions contained in the Enchanted Beauty Institute Student Information Handbook.

You can find the Student Information Handbook under Downloads in the Resources section of the Student Hub.

You will be expected to complete and sign the declaration on the last page and upload it to the Student Handbook folder in your Dropbox once you have been given access to confirm your understanding. If you are unsure on how to use Dropbox, we can walk you through this on your first day of training or in a session with your Student Liaison.

For Beauty Courses - organise your models!

Whether you are studying online or in the Academy, you will practice technical application on different models over the course of your training program.

The number of models will vary depending on the course you are enrolled in.  You can find out how many models you need to organise for your course in the Model Requirements, Agenda and Assessments section further down this page.

IMPORTANT!

Your models need to have realistic expectations of your skill level and the time it will take to perform the application.
NEVER represent yourself as qualified before you receive your certification!
