Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that life can throw up hurdles and things don’t go to plan. We try to provide flexible solutions and support when you can’t attend or finish your training course, but sometimes you just need to cancel.

If a student withdraws from a course for any reason, a full or partial refund may be applicable. Please contact Enchanted Beauty Institute on 1300 113 996 to discuss individual circumstances.

A lot of preparation goes into providing excellent training for you on your training day! To ensure the smooth running of our courses for all students, any cancellations or refunds are subject to the following conditions.

Cancellations

By You

If the cancellation by you is due to change of mind and you no longer wish to participate in the course you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, provided you meet the required refund conditions and have not accessed any electronic course materials, online programs or commenced in-class training.

All digital products are deemed ‘used’ once downloaded or opened. No refunds will be given once electronic course materials or online programs have been accessed.

Enchanted Beauty Institute prides itself on providing high quality content designed to be accessible and understandable regardless of your level. We are confident that you will get great value for money if you work through the whole curriculum as offered.

Students who have not logged into the course within one (1) month of enrolment and/or who have not submitted any material or assessment within one (1) month of the initial login or in-class training date, will be contacted by a Student Liaison to determine if they require any additional support to ensure progression through their course and to agree on a timetable for progression.

If the student still does not commence or submit work within three (3) months of enrolment, they will be deemed to be inactive and will forfeit the right to any support, mentoring or accountability benefits provided as part of Enchanted Beauty Institute’s student support program.

By Us

If a course is cancelled by Enchanted Beauty Institute for any reason, students enrolled at the time of the cancellation announcement will be notified and advised an alternative date/venue OR entitled to a full refund.

Students who may have been assessed as competent for some units in the course will be issued a Certificate or Statement of Attainment for these units and the cost of issuing the statement(s) will be deducted from the refund total.

Refunds

Should a student withdraw from a course for any reason, a full or partial refund may be applicable. The conditions for refunds are outlined in the table below. Please contact Enchanted Beauty Institute on 1300 113 996 to discuss individual circumstances.

Any refunds will either be processed to the original form of payment or via direct debit to the original payee’s account at the discretion of Enchanted Beauty Institute.

 

CONDITION ENTITLEMENT
Up to 2 weeks prior to course commencement and has not accessed course materials or online programs electronically or been provided with course materials by post.

$200.00 booking fee withheld due to resources expended establishing student records and materials.

Remainder of any monies paid as course fees refunded.

Student may take any kit or products they purchased separately.

Less than 2 weeks prior to course commencement

No refund

Student may take any kit or products they purchased separately.

Transfer to an alternative date is permitted with a minimum 7 days’ notice.

 

Transfer to another course is permitted with a minimum 7 days’ notice provided student has not accessed course materials or online programs electronically or been provided with course materials by post.

Failure to Attend/No Show

No refund

Student may take any kit or products they purchased separately.

Course Commenced but not completed No refund.  You forfeit all monies paid and remain obligated to pay any outstanding course fees unless other arrangements have been agreed.
Expelled or suspended from a class or course after commencement No refund.  You forfeit all monies paid and remain obligated to pay any outstanding course fees.

Important!

Cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing by the Enchanted Beauty Institute Student Liaison. Please be aware the effective date for any refund request is the date we receive it in writing. If you delay providing us written notice it may impact your refund eligibility. Written notice should be emailed to: support@enchantedbeauty.institute

This refund policy does not remove your rights under Australia’s consumer protection laws. Consumer guarantees do not apply if you:

  • got what you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it
  • misused a product in any way that caused the problem
  • knew of or were made aware of the faults before you bought the product
  • asked for a service to be done in a certain way against the advice of the business or were unclear about what you wanted.
